I am a meat proxy for the LLM
I am nothing but a middleman.
What clubs do I go to? What do I buy? What do I make? How do I get a job?
Make this. Do that. Complete this.
What is free will anymore?
When knowledge is this abundant, what's the point of keeping up my own? It's all so sad.
I think we should all try to be more mindful of how we use these machines. I feel like I'm getting dumber. I miss programming things myself. If I want to understand AI and actually study it, I need to regain those skills.
The meat proxy needs an intervention. A solution.
As a meat proxy myself, an aware meat proxy, it is my responsibility to create this intervention. How will I do it? With the LLM, of course. The Swiss Army knife of my problems. Only to create new, unseen ones. Oh well!
How will I create this intervention? Brainstorm:
- A skill that forces me to do certain tasks myself.
- I don't know.
- I'll ask AI lol.
How do I stop being burnt out, lazy, and tired?
It feels like they had it easier back in the day, when there were plenty of ideas to build and things had to be done manually. Today it's just confusing. Decision fatigue. What will even matter in ten years? Nobody knows, so everyone acts like nothing will change. It's scary.
But learning makes you smarter. Knowledge. Reasoning. These things are important!
Then I start thinking about fusion energy. Infinite power, infinite resources. Then what? Will that even happen? It's too much.
Who knows what the job market will be like. Will AI be oversaturated? Will I be jobless? Will I be seen as evil for working on it? What's even the point anymore?
We're all going to end up like WALL-E soon anyway.
It's not our fault. It's not even the corporations' fault. It's just the way humans are. More, more, more. We're never happy with where we are. It's so horrible. Innovation will be our downfall.
